Since The Beginning Of This Year, The Quantity And Quality Of My Country's Foreign Trade Have Risen

Since the beginning of this year, in the face of the complex and severe foreign trade development environment, my country has continued to introduce a series of policies to stabilize foreign trade, and the structure and development quality of foreign trade have both improved. Data from the General Administration of Customs shows that in the first eight months of this year, my country's total import and export value was 27.3 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.1% over the same period last year. Among them, the import and export volume of general trade accounted for 64.3% of the total value of China's foreign trade, an increase of 2.3 percentage points over the same period last year.

New business formats and new models to expand new space

Bai Ming, deputy director of the International Market Research Institute of the Academy of Commerce of the Ministry of Commerce, said in an interview with a reporter from China Trade News that the stable growth of my country's foreign trade is mainly driven by the following factors. There is a foundation for stabilizing foreign trade; second, the policies to help enterprises have been put in place, and the country and various provinces and cities have issued relevant policies, including reductions, exemptions, delays, subsidies, and refunds involving various taxes and fees; third, my country's foreign trade market More diversified, especially the rapid growth of trade with countries along the “Belt and Road”. In the first eight months, China’s trade with countries along the “Belt and Road” increased by 20.2% year-on-year, which was a whole higher growth rate than my country’s import and export trade volume during the same period. The fourth is that my country has made remarkable achievements in promoting the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade in recent years, the technical content of products has been improved, and its irreplaceability in the world has become stronger; the fifth is to actively try new models and new formats of foreign trade, especially the development of e-commerce Expanding new space for my country's foreign trade.

The reporter learned that since the beginning of this year, many regions in my country have introduced policies and measures for the new format of cross-border e-commerce. For example, Guangdong issued the "Notice of the People's Government of Guangdong Province on Printing and Distributing the Implementation Plans for 8 Comprehensive Pilot Zones of Cross-border E-commerce in China (Shaoguan)", "tailor-made" development roadmaps for the 8 comprehensive pilot zones, and creating a "full industrial chain" Closed-loop" ecosystem to promote high-quality development of trade; Quanzhou, Fujian issued "Several Measures for Quanzhou to Promote High-Quality Development of E-commerce in 2022" to encourage enterprises to build overseas warehouses in countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" and RCEP member countries, Expand the layout of overseas warehouses in the European and American markets, etc.

At present, in order to promote the better development of cross-border e-commerce, the customs is also simultaneously promoting various system innovations. Many cross-border e-commerce companies in Shanghai have chosen Hangzhou, Ningbo and other places for customs clearance of imported goods. This is because of the innovative measures launched by the Yangtze River Delta region for cross-border e-commerce customs clearance. "Whether it is customs clearance in Shanghai, Hangzhou, or Ningbo, the experience of our company and the timeliness of customs clearance are the same. They all enter the logistics network for transit after customs clearance that night, as if they are in the same place. Customs clearance is the same," said Wang Wushan, a logistics manager at a cross-border e-commerce company in Shanghai.

It is reported that Shenzhen Customs has made every effort to promote the implementation of cross-border e-commerce business scenarios such as purchase, display, sales, and return in Shenzhen for the new business forms of cross-border e-commerce. Paper-based and intelligent. In the first half of this year, the value of the import and export of cross-border e-commerce supervised by Shenzhen Customs District increased by 80% year-on-year, and the scale ranked first in the country.
