1. The stainless steel elbows stored for a long time should be inspected as scheduled. The exposed processing surface must be cleaned, dirt removed, and stored neatly in a ventilated and dry place indoors. Stacking or open storage is prohibited. Always insist on the dryness and ventilation of stainless steel elbows, keep the appliance clean and tidy, and store it in accordance with the storage method.
2. For equipment, the stainless steel elbow can be directly installed on the pipeline according to the connection method, and the equipment can be installed according to the application position. Under normal circumstances, the equipment can be placed in any position in the pipeline, but it needs easy-to-operate inspection. Note that the medium flow direction of the cut-off stainless steel elbow should be upward from the vertical valve flap, and the stainless steel elbow can only be horizontal equipment. When using stainless steel elbows, pay attention to the tightness of the equipment to avoid leakage and affect the normal operation of the pipeline.
3. When using stainless steel elbow ball valves, globe valves, and gate valves, they are only used for fully open or fully closed. They are not allowed to be used for flow adjustment to avoid erosion of the sealing surface and accelerate wear. There is an inverted sealing device in the gate valve and the upper threaded stop valve, and the handwheel is turned to the upper position and tightened to prevent the medium from leaking from the packing.
4. Stainless steel elbows should be used with handwheels. Do not rely on levers or other tools to avoid damaging the valve parts. Turn the handwheel clockwise to close, and vice versa to open.
5. The bolts of the stainless steel elbow valve packing gland should be tightened evenly and should not be pressed into a crooked state to avoid bruising, hindering the movement of the valve stem or causing leakage.
6. The stainless steel elbow should always be cleaned during the use process, and the transmission thread must be smooth as expected. When a defect is found, the use should be stopped immediately to find out the cause and eliminate the defect.
