stainless steel elbows?
1. Raw material reasons
Choosing raw pipes of poor quality will cause internal and external warping, scarring, cracks, etc. in stainless steel elbows;
2. Annealing temperature reasons
An important process in the production of stainless steel seamless elbows is heat treatment. Poor heating during annealing (uneven, insufficient temperature, etc.) will cause internal warping, cracking, etc.;
3. External force reasons
The stainless steel elbows after being fired may cause external warping and pits due to some external forces (such as scratching; water spray, mold burrs, head wear, etc.);
Measures to reduce cracks in stainless steel elbows
1. Starting from raw materials
Pipes in the warehouse cannot be stacked together with acids, alkalis, salts, cement, etc. Different types of stainless steel pipes should be stacked separately to prevent confusion and contact corrosion. The warehouse should be selected according to geographical conditions. Generally, an ordinary closed warehouse is used, that is, a warehouse with a roof, walls, tight doors and windows, and ventilation devices to prevent steel pipes from being exposed to wind and sun for a long time and rusting and peeling, thereby affecting the quality of stainless steel elbows.
2. Starting from the processing procedure
Ensure that the stainless steel elbow needs to be annealed after pushing, eliminate stress, refine grains, remove structural defects, reduce hardness, improve plasticity and mechanical properties, and facilitate cold processing in subsequent processes.
In short, ensuring the reliability of the raw material and formulating appropriate annealing processes are effective measures to ensure that the stainless steel elbow structure is qualified and the product does not have fracture defects. If the manufacturer reduces the annealing process in order to unilaterally reduce production costs, it will inevitably have an adverse impact on product quality.
