Things to note when installing stainless steel pipe tees

When stainless steel pipes are constructed during the rainy season, especially in the basement, drainage ditches and water collection wells should be dug first, and water pumps, hoses and other pumping equipment should be prepared for pumping. Rainwater should be strictly prevented from soaking and floating pipes should be avoided. After the construction is completed, the soil should be backfilled in time.

How should stainless steel tees be handled in special periods?

(1) When making asbestos cement joints, hot water should be used to mix materials, but the water temperature should not exceed 500C, such as when making expansion cement joints.

(2) When the temperature is below -50C, the above two materials should not be used.

(3) After the joint is completed, mud mixed with salt water can be used for sealing and maintenance, and covered with straw curtains.

(4) During the pressure test, the exposed pipes or joints should be covered with straw curtains, and the pipe body without joints should be backfilled.

After the pressure test is completed, the water should be drained as soon as possible, and all preparations before the pressure test and drainage after the pressure test should be completed. Steel pipes are long strips of steel with hollow cross-sections and no seams around them. Due to their hollow cross-sections, steel pipes are widely used as pipelines for transporting fluids, such as oil, natural gas, coal gas, water, and certain solid materials.

Compared to solid steel, such as round steel, steel pipes are lighter in weight when the bending and torsional strengths are the same. They are an economical cross-sectional steel and are widely used in the manufacture of structural parts and mechanical components, such as oil drill pipes, automobile transmission shafts, bicycle frames, and steel scaffolding used in building construction.

Using steel pipes to make annular parts can improve material utilization, simplify the manufacturing process, and save materials and processing time. For example, rolling bearing rings and jack sleeves are currently widely made from steel pipes. Steel pipes are also indispensable materials for various conventional weapons.

Steel pipes can be divided into round pipes and special-shaped pipes based on the different cross-sectional shapes. Because a circular area is the largest under the condition of equal perimeter, round pipes can transport more fluids. Additionally, when the circular cross-section is subjected to internal or external radial pressure, the force is relatively uniform, making round pipes the most common type. However, round pipes also have certain limitations.
