1. Hardness of circulating cooling water
The operation process of circulating water in the equipment is similar to the operation process of boiler water in a low-pressure hot water boiler. Therefore, managing water quality according to the water quality standards of hot water boilers can prevent both scaling and corrosion of stainless steel elbows.
2. Temperature control of circulating cooling water
The difference between the water ring temperature in the stainless steel elbow and the water temperature in the softening water pool is an important factor leading to scaling. Therefore, increasing the circulating water supply to improve the cooling effect is an important guarantee to minimize the scaling rate.
Therefore, during the operation of circulating cooling water, it is also necessary to monitor the return water temperature and return water volume of each stainless steel elbow to ensure that the normal water supply of each pump and the return water temperature do not exceed the regulations of 40°C. The water supply can be controlled by a valve. If the return water temperature exceeds the specified value, it is necessary to add low-temperature cold water or use other heat dissipation and cooling methods to reduce the temperature of the softened water in the softening water tank.
3. Regularly flush the pump body
The pump body drain valve, in addition to being used to normally discharge the accumulated water in the pump, can also use the water pressure of the pump body to regularly flush the dirt and water residue in the pump during operation. On the one hand, it can prevent the accumulation of dirt, and on the other hand, it can also prevent the water residue from turning into scale.
