Advantages of using stainless steel elbow

Stainless steel elbows will not cause erosion, pitting, rust or wear. Stainless steel is still one of the strongest materials among construction metal materials. Because stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, it can make structural components permanently maintain the integrity of engineering design. Chromium-containing stainless steel stamping elbows also combine mechanical strength and high extensibility, and are easy to process and manufacture parts, which can meet the needs of architects and structural design staff. All metals react with oxygen in the atmosphere to form an oxide film on the surface. Unfortunately, the iron oxide formed on ordinary carbon steel inherits oxidation, which causes the rust to continue to expand and eventually form holes. You can use paint or oxidation-resistant metals (for example, zinc, nickel and chromium) for electroplating to ensure the carbon steel surface, but, as people know, this protection is only a thin film. In addition, the outer diameter of the front end is generally large after the pusher, and it needs to be shaped by the shaping die. The whole mold is actually a press. There must be a set of molds, two semi-circular arcs, one above and one below. The outer diameter after shaping has reached the size requirements of the finished product. The wall thickness is controlled based on the expected wall thickness. The wall thickness tolerances of the elbow and the pipe are the same, both ± 12.5%. In addition to chromium, commonly used alloy elements are nickel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, copper, nitrogen, etc., to meet the requirements of stainless steel stamping elbow structure and function for various purposes.
